Elementary Program

Elementary school is an exciting and rewarding time at Liberty Bible Academy. An outstanding phonetic reading program, a hallmark of our learning environment, enables our children to develop learning skills that help ensure successful movement through these crucial early years.

Since quality education and student discipline are directly related, Liberty Bible Academy students are expected to maintain a consistently high standard of conduct. Promotion of good habits regarding courtesy, respect for authority, obedience, and honesty is the rule, not the exception as students are assisted in gaining self-confidence and social maturity.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten offers a delightful learning experience. Meeting five full days per week, students learn to read phonetically, begin to write, discover basic science and history facts, as well as develop math skills. Kindergarten students enjoy a complete educational program designed to help them establish a firm foundation for a lifetime of learning. This includes a variety of hands-on activities, visual aids, and circle times which help develop readiness, language, and social skills.
Children must be five years old on or before August 1
and be potty trained.

Grades 1 - 4

Grades one through four engage each child through a quality academic program which focuses on individual responsibility, self-discipline, and spiritual development. Students learn in a structured environment which reaches into the disciplines of Bible, language, science, history, mathematics, foreign language, music, and art. A variety of field trips complement instruction.

Program Features

Liberty Bible Academy provides an outstanding academic program using Biblically-integrated curriculum which, in addition to Bible, incorporates reading, phonics, language, spelling, writing, arithmetic, science, health, history, and geography. Art, music, Spanish, physical education, and computer/technology are also offered at all levels. All program offerings are taught by dedicated, qualified, spiritually-minded teachers in a warm and loving environment.

Bible classes prepare students to apply scripture to their lives, to discern right from wrong, to defend their faith, and to serve Christ with their whole hearts and minds. Emphasis on Christian character building complements the academic program.

Personal attention for each individual child and frequent communication with parents are key elements of our success.

A vital part of the learning experience, our fine arts program is composed of art and music, including drama, vocal, theory, and instrumental instruction. Students have several opportunities to demonstrate their talents throughout the school year. Students receive structured physical education classes and enjoy a large playground during recess.
