Fine Arts at LBA

 

​Music is a part of the curriculum in preschool through middle school, and offered as an elective in high school.  Research has shown that music education results in increased cognitive development, intelligence, learning capacity, and better study skills.  Students are taught perception and response, expression and performance, and history and culture.

The LBA band program consists of middle school, high school and homeschool students.  Several performances occur during the school year. Students also perform for community events, retirement communities, recitals, and competitions.

Drama is available for elementary through high school students.  The drama department is active in theatrical presentations during winter and spring. The drama department presents annual dramatic productions that center around biblical principles and themes.
