Admissions Policies

Preschool Admissions Policies - Application

1. Children being enrolled in the three-year-old program must be three years old on or before September 30 without exception. Children being enrolled in the four-year-old program must be four years old on or before September 30. A developmental screening process must be completed successfully before enrollment.

2. An Application for Enrollment must be completed for each child each school year.

3. A copy of the child's birth certificate. This is mandatory for all children, regardless
of age. (Do not send original as it will not be returned.)

4. A non-refundable application fee of $75.00 must accompany each application for
the application to be processed. Make checks payable to Liberty Bible Academy.

6. Parents will be notified of the status of their application(s) upon completion of the
application process. The following will apply to accepted applications:

  • Available class positions will be offered for students whose applications are accepted in the order that their applications were received. After a class has been filled, a waiting list for that class will be maintained. Students on waiting lists will be offered positions as they become available.
  • Upon being offered positions, registration for accepted students must be completed within a set amount of time in order for their positions to be guaranteed. Details will be included in the registration materials which parents will receive upon the acceptance of the application(s) made for their child(ren).

7. Children are accepted conditionally based on their developmental readiness for the
structure and expectations of the program. If it becomes apparent that a child is
not developmentally ready physically, emotionally, socially, or intellectually for the
structure and expectations of the program, he or she will be withdrawn.

8. Liberty Bible Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic
origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or
made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of
race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies,
admissions policies, student financial assistance program, and athletics and other

Kindergarten - Eighth Grade Admissions Policies - Application

1. Children entering kindergarten must be five years old and children entering first grade
must be six years old by September 30. In all cases, admission testing will be used in
determining eligibility for enrollment.

2. An Application for Admission must be completed for each child for which application is
being made. Please include the following with each application:
  • A recent picture of the child.
  • A copy of the child's most recent report card, if applicable. (Do not send original as it will not be returned.)
  • A copy of the child's birth certificate. This is mandatory for all children, regardless of age or grade. (Do not send original as it will not be returned.)
  • An application fee of $100.00 must accompany each application for the application to be processed. Specific details may be found in the tuition rates and fees brochure.
Please send the completed application(s) and other required items to the school at
4900 Old Irwin-Simpson Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

3. New families will be contacted for a parent interview with Administrator / Principal. The
presence of both parents at the interview is required except under unusual circumstances.

4. Admission testing is required for all new students, including children entering
kindergarten. (Children entering grades one through eight for whom the results of the
appropriate level of the Stanford Achievement Test-Tenth Edition are furnished, will be
exempted from admission testing.) The results of this testing will be used in determining
the acceptance and/or grade placement of each child. Parents making application for their
child(ren) will be notified of testing dates.

5. Parents will be notified in writing of the status of the application(s) made for their
child(ren) after completion of the application process.

6. Positions will be granted based on the following criteria:

  • Completed application
  • Successful grade-level placement test
  • Parent interview with administrator / principal
  • Administrator and teacher evaluation committee determines that the student has the potential for success at Liberty Bible Academy
  • Parents are seeking a long-term Christ-centered education for their children
After a class has been filled, a waiting list for that class will be maintained. Students on

8. Upon being offered positions, registration for accepted students must be completed within
a set amount of time in order for their positions to be guaranteed. Details will be included
in the registration materials which parents will receive upon the acceptance of the
application(s) made for their child(ren).

9. Students are accepted conditionally. If it becomes apparent that the child has physical,
mental, or emotional impairments for which we are not equipped to provide help, he will
be withdrawn.

10. Enrollees will be retained on condition that their behavior and attitudes are conducive to
the purpose of our Christian school.

11. Liberty Bible Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all
the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to
students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and
ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, student
financial assistance program, and other school-administered programs.
